СО₂ electrical gasifier (125…1000 kg/h)

Gasifier is designed for maintaining of pressure set value in carbon dioxide stationary or transport reservoir during gaseous carbon dioxide discharge. Maintenance of pressure value is performed by means of carbon dioxide liquid phase evaporation in gasifier and its return into reservoir in the form of gas.

Gasifier consists of evaporation riser and electrics control box. Heating for evaporation of carbon dioxide in gasifier takes place directly by means of electrical heaters excluding intermediate heat media. During gasifier operation, automatic actuation and shutdown of heating elements (tubular electric heating elements) occurs in accordance with signals from temperature and pressure sensors, maintaining their values at the necessary level.

To avoid frequent actuation / shutdown of tubular electric heating elements according to temperature parameter, automatic control unit performs smooth, directly-proportional control over total capacity of evaporator depending on value of carbon dioxide gas temperature at the outlet of gasifier (for gasifiers 500 and 1000 kg/h).

Evaporator and tubular electric heating elements of gasifier are made of stainless steel (AISI 304 or analogue).

At the Customer’s option, heating unit for gases or gas mixtures with automatic control over set temperature, and pressure regulator may be additionally supplied.
